Safety & Compliance — Our Certifications and Regulatory Standing

Our Commitment to Safety & Regulatory Compliance

Uncompromising Safety: The Foundation of Every Expedition

In the world of expedition travel, particularly in remote marine environments, safety is not a feature—it is the absolute foundation upon which every luxury experience is built. At Diving Cruise Indonesia Premium, a subsidiary of Juara Holding Group, we have a deeply ingrained safety culture that permeates every level of our operation. Our clients trust us with their most precious asset: their well-being. We honor that trust through rigorous adherence to both Indonesian and international safety standards, comprehensive regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management.

Our commitment to safety is a core part of our vetting process for every partner vessel and is transparently managed by our expert team.

Corporate & Regulatory Compliance

We operate with full legal and financial transparency as a legitimate Indonesian entity.

  • Legal Entity: Our operations are conducted under PT Juara Maritim Sejahtera, a legally registered Perseroan Terbatas (Limited Liability Company) under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
  • Tourism License (SIUP Pariwisata): We hold a valid Tourism Business License issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf), authorizing us to operate as a tour and travel provider.
  • Tax Compliance (NPWP): Our company is registered with the Directorate General of Taxes and holds a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), ensuring full compliance with all national tax obligations.
  • IATA Accreditation: Our IATA number signifies that we meet the highest global standards for financial and operational competence in the travel industry, allowing us to ticket and coordinate complex international and domestic air travel seamlessly.

Maritime Safety & Vessel Standards

Every vessel in our curated portfolio is subject to stringent safety audits that exceed local requirements.

  • Indonesian Maritime Compliance: All vessels are registered with the Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut (Hubla) and possess all required documentation, including the Pas Besar (Tonnage Certificate) and Surat Ukur (Certificate of Registry). They undergo annual seaworthiness inspections to maintain their Surat Laik Laut.
  • International Standards (SOLAS): We ensure our fleet is equipped according to the principles of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), including certified life rafts, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), radar, and satellite communication systems.
  • Navigation & Communication: Every vessel is equipped with redundant navigation systems (GPS, chart plotters) and long-range communication tools (satellite phones, SSB radio) to ensure constant contact even in the most remote areas.
  • GPS Tracking: For added security, our entire fleet is monitored via a real-time GPS tracking system from our shore-based operations center.

Diving & Emergency Protocols

Our dive operations are managed with a zero-compromise approach to safety.

  • DAN Partnership: As an official DAN (Divers Alert Network) Industry Partner, we are connected to the world’s leading dive safety and emergency evacuation network. We require all guests to have comprehensive dive and medical evacuation insurance.
  • Certified Professionals: All our dive guides are, at a minimum, PADI Divemasters or SSI Dive Guides, with most holding Instructor-level certifications. They are all certified Emergency First Response (EFR) providers.
  • Onboard Medical Equipment: Every vessel is equipped with comprehensive first aid kits, emergency oxygen, and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a detailed EAP for every itinerary, outlining clear procedures for managing any potential incident, from a marine life injury to a full-scale medical evacuation.

Crew Welfare & Training

A safe vessel is operated by a well-cared-for and well-trained crew.

  • Social Security & Health Insurance: 100% of our Indonesian crew members are enrolled in the national social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) programs.
  • Regular Training: We conduct regular, mandatory safety drills for all crew, covering fire, man-overboard, and abandon-ship procedures.

This comprehensive framework of compliance and safety is our promise to you. It allows us to manage risk effectively so you can immerse yourself fully in the magic of your Indonesian diving expedition with complete peace of mind.
